The Berkeley School is a pre-school through 8th Grade institution offering unique, high-quality education in San Francisco.

This site shows the versatility of CSS and WordPress as means to create a content rich web site. The TBS design consists of numerous color schemes and areas of information. Along with the main web site that outlines the school, its mission and the people involved a series of additional blogs for Students, Alumni, Parents and Faculty were also developed.

TBS includes Google Calendars and Google Maps as well as AddThis bookmarking function for each page.

This project was developed for the good people at UseAllFive in California.

Custompbox

Custompbox is a custom built/kit based guitar pedal company. This site is for the serious musician who wants some unqiue, well made pedals or who wants to buy a kit to built and customize their own.

The site is another WordPress driven project. WordPress as a Content Management System is far more flexible and easy to learn that other CMS tools such as Joomla. (In my humble opinion)

Custompox employs the Shopp Plugin as well offering a clean and easy e-commerce solution as well as a nice Flash audio player on the home page for previewing some guitar samples.

Spark of Creation Therapy

Spark of Creation’s web site was built using a WordPress framework for easy client management.

The design for this site required the use of PNG-24 graphics with full transparency. Using some posterization as well as PNG Crusher I was able to ease some of the load time. In the end the integrity of the design outweighed the need for faster load times.

Each section of the site has its own configuration of graphic objects on the left side of the browser window; all floating over the wood grain background. A simple yet visually refined execution.

Code Green Lights

Code Green Lights is an entrepreneurial endeavor by a high-school student who decided to turn a class project in a real service to help people ‘go green’.

This site was built using WordPress as a frame work and Content Management System (CMS) for easier updating. Also included is a Shop area powered by the Shopp plug-in for WordPress. I simple, yet diverse, plug-in that allows the using to create and manage products easily. You can easily connect Shopp to a PayPal account and be in business from the day the site launches.

Jaffe & Berlin

I was brought in by Glantz Design to execute the development and cross browser testing for this project.

A fairly straight forward site using HTML & CSS with basic page includes. No JavaScript was needed except in the case of encoding email links.

Clean and thoughtful designs like this makes the development phase much easier.

American Demonstration

This site seems far more simple that it actually is. Using the JavaScript library MooTools as well as a compliment module called MoodalBox this site has an extra layer of interactivity.

With accordion style menu/content items, window overlays and a PHP driven contact form this site moves and flows without actually going anywhere.

Along with developing this key portal page I developed and re-branded a WordPress blog for American Demonstration employees to read news and access documents as needed.

Indigenous Selections

Another development project using WordPress as the structural framework and Content Management System (CMS). This Page driven site has an extensive system of sub-pages all customized for the clients preferred navigational experience.

This site also employs unique photographs/images for each page that are managed easily without any editing of HTML.

Starting with design files (PSDs), my job is to dissect and translate those designs into a fully functioning, cross-browser compliant web site.
